Michele Bergeron Koleto is a licensed California attorney and admitted to State Bar of California in 1978. She worked for the CPA/ Law Firm of Oldmen & Oldmen, Newport Beach, California and continued in private practice since 1981.
Michele is a licensed to practice law before United States District Court, Central District of California and United States Tax Court.
Michele’s membership in the California State Bar Association includes the Taxation Section and Trust and Estate Section. The firm prepares income tax returns for individuals, business entities, nonprofit, pension, estate and trusts. Her firm has provided representation before Internal Revenue Service and several state agencies with emphasis on negotiations of tax liabilities, Offers in Compromise, audit resolutions. Michele has performed forensic accountings, provides litigation support, consultation and retained as an expert witness in a complex Colorado probate proceeding.
Her practice includes preparation of Trust, Wills and Durable Powers of Attorney and representation clients in California probate proceedings. She has secured tax exempt status for multiple nonprofit organizations.
